Are you a business coach or a consultant?

I’ve never found a good description of the difference between a business coach and a consultant, so here’s my attempt at it. A business coach believes that his client has the answers, and it’s his job to help her find the solutions. At this point, many coaches offer ongoing assistance by helping the client implement a plan of action.

A consultant relationship, on the other hand, is one where the consultant brings information that the client does not already have. The consultant then helps the organization implement a solution using this unique knowledge.

THINC Ideal is part coaching, consulting, educating, and mentoring. We blend the best of these approaches to help you achieve greater entrepreneurial freedom.

Is there ongoing support for your Programs?

Yes. You can participate in our Programs in one of two ways. You can either enroll in the workshops, held at various times throughout the year. Or you can choose our optional one-on-one support package, in which you work with us to create an execution plan. We then work on this plan together on a monthly basis.

How do you guarantee work?

It’s simple. If you are not experiencing increased entrepreneurial freedom by the end of the workshop series we will refund your session fees in full. If you opt for the one-on-one support package, we will define clear measurable objectives before starting our work together.

How can you be so confident that this will work for me?

I won’t know if it will work for you until you complete the Starter Kit or the application form. Once you’ve completed these forms and we’ve reviewed them, we can assess whether or not this will work for you.

We are confident in our approach, as it has been proven time and again. We use it ourselves and we’ve seen the tremendous success it has brought to our clients. And we thoroughly test any new ideas and approaches before we introduce them.

Is this a time management course?

No, it’s not. Time management is about increasing your productivity by doing more in the same amount of time. The Management Wizardry Program™ is about how to create a business that has scale so that it can grow to something far greater than what you have today. The Management Wizardry Program™ is how to better leverage the talents of the people around you and how to get other to make your vision of the future a reality.

Why is it a full day?

We could teach you what you need to know in less than a day but here is the problem.  You need a day to figure out how you are going to use the information, create a plan to implement the ideas and some time to address problems that may occur bringing these new ideas to your business.

Without taking a full day to work on this all you end up with is some more ideas that never get put to practice.

Will I implement the ideas?

I know what it is like to run a business.  I too have had the experience of going to a seminar or workshop and learning a bunch of things and then getting back the office and putting none of it into practice.  I have worked hard to make these ideas simple and easy to implement  The information and tools will be presented in a manner that works for smaller businesses.

You will also be given time to create an action plan for how you are going to put these ideas into place so that you can have this amazing future.  So you will know exactly what you need to do next.  You will also share this action plan with your peers around the table.  Nothing like a little bit of accountability to get things moving.  At the beginning of each workshop you will also hear what others have done and share your results.

If that is not enough to move things forward we also have additional services to help.

Why is it good to meet with peers?

Being a business owner can be lonely.  Your challenges and opportunities are different than others.  When you have a problem, who do you talk too?  Who can help you work through your challenges?  Who can empathize with your situation?  Only another business owner.

Other business owners are also better equipped to challenge the way that you do business and force you to expand your mind to see new opportunities, because this is what we enjoy doing.  It also pushes you forward because you cannot fall into the trap of “that won’t work for me because I am not a Fortune 500 company” because you will be hearing from people like you.

You will also be able to learn from their experiences and share your insights.

Why is it good to take a day away from my business?

Taking a full day away from your business to think about your business is one of the most valuable things that you can do.  Have you ever wondered why you come up with some of your best ideas when you are in the shower, or walking the dog, or hanging out with the kids.  The best ideas come when the mind and body are relaxed.  You need to get quiet to create the break through ideas.  Large corporations spend millions of dollars to send their people off into the woods on a retreat.  Why?  Because it works.  This is where new ideas are created.

This is why my logo is a butterfly.  A caterpillar cannot transform into a butterfly without first getting into a quiet cocoon state.  Only then can it transform into something new and wonderful.  The thing it dreamt it could be.  Well your business is no different.  If you want to have the business that you dreamt about when you started.  You must periodically step away from the business and work on your business.

Does what you teach apply to my business?

If you are not sure that this program can be applied to your business there are two things that you can do.  One, take a look at the industries that we already work with.  Or better yet, take us up on a no-charge 90 minute .  During this starter session you will get useful tips that will free up your time and you will see how this can apply to your business.

How much does it cost?

The cost for this workshop series is $2,200 plus GST for the year.  This is equivalent to spending less than $200 per month on growing your business.  This expense is also tax deductible.
