While still at university, he built one of the Maritimes’ largest mobile entertainment firms from scratch, eventually achieving sales of more than $1 million with close to 30 employees. He spent the next 15 years as a mortgage and real estate analyst and portfolio manager and director for large corporations. That really got him thinking.

He discovered that you can’t successfully grow your business if all you do is work harder. Doubling his hours and efforts didn’t double his income and it wrecked havoc on his health and home life. He also saw what happens when any business relies too heavily on its owner. The business doesn’t generate any income if the owner is on holiday, ill or out of the office. The business becomes virtually worthless if only the owner creates and delivers the products and services. Finally, an owner-centric company’s sales and profit potential is severely limited.

He knew that there had to be a better way.  When he couldn’t find existing programs to solve some of the most common challenges and issues facing entrepreneurs, professionals, sole practitioners and commissioned sales reps, he developed programs to help them set goals, hire, delegate and build teams.
